Poetic Whispers

Hi All! Welcome to my blog!

My name is Katelyn but for those who don’t know me I go by Katie most of the time. I am also toying with the idea of using a pen-name but I can never decide on one because they are all so good. I am currently in college studying to be an elementary school teacher. I was an English major but I figured out that children would probably be confused if I taught them grammar, so I switched to a music minor. 😀 Although that happened, I love to write poetry and recently I have started to write stories.

I am also getting married next year to a wonderful man who supports me wonderfully and I love him very much. He is also a writer and we enjoy writing together, coming up with lots of fun things. He proposed 1 year ago and we have been dating 2 years on the 20th of September. We are extremely excited to be getting married.

I am a budding writer and I will be posting some of my writing on here as well! I am mostly free verse but I do write some rhyming poems as well.
